I got a fever of 103 degrees on Sunday and I am still sick on Monday. That's why I was not there on Monday. I was really boring and miserable. My head really hurt. I finally got a little better with some Motrin.
But even as that thought touched his mind he knew that for him only the shadow that had bred him and none of the substance would be rootless and without any stake in the country would be to drift home nor any hope to drift home.
Sixteen children/and young people/were stricken with a mysterious fever,/and none of the familiar remedies/seemed to be of any benefit.

I was at Ferndale high school on the block ready to swim the mile. "Take your mark" the speaker blared. Pause... in that moment everything blurred, babies crying excited parent's cheering. I only focused on one point, and that was the finish. 1650 yards or 4950 feet away but at the same time right below my feet. BEEP. And I was off.
This Saturday I am swimming the mile. It is 1650 meters which is 66 laps in the pool. It's gonna take about at least 25 minutes. I am swimming it at groves. If I swim the mile I get my 25, 50, 100, 200, and 500 free times. Not including my mile time. I am going to go fast for the first 500 and go slow for the rest to get my other times good.
Today is Wednesday and I just finished my mid-year writing assessment on criterion. Last time I got a 5, this time I am aiming for a 6. I spent the full 30 minutes and did my best. I hope I get a 6.
Today was Characters Connections day. We got new CC groups and we played games. We played the animal game and huckleberry. Then we went to the gym to talk about project cope and watched some movies. Then I went to Choice Hour.

Today I went to Darron’s house from 1pm to 9pm. His house is in Ann Arbor on the right side of old Earhart road. It was fun,
we played micro battles, mine-strike, and super smash bros. It was fun. We ate a delicious dinner at their house. We ate turkey, lamb soup, and dumplings. It was really fun, I wish I could go there again!

I was in Chinatown with Darron. I was walking with Darron down a street. The street was red brick
with red houses. There were so many different stores and building. I went into
a random shop. There was nothing but old stuff and yucky Chinese candy. An old man
was sitting behind the counter. I saw some medicine and herbs in a corner. He
started talking in a weird Chinese dialect. I walked out of the shop. That guy was weird I thought.I walked into a bright and interesting shop.
It had big glowing
letters and lots of lights. This one was an arcade. I watched some people play video games.
"I wish I had some
quarters" I said to Darron.

This was not that fun. I walked to a different shop and it was another store.

walked around the whole city but did not find anything fun. It was so boring. Chinatown was a big just lump of boring. I walked around some more then I went back to Darron's
parents because I was bored.They had
a lot of shopping with them. Then we were all hungry so we all went to a big restaurantthat was big and spacious and gold and red. It
